Since a total of 20M GEM was originally minted as BEP20 token on BSC, to add liquidity on Uniswap either you have to collect
Ethereum GEM from Uniswap
or you can also bridge BSC GEM to Ethereum GEM using
"Multichain Router".
Here is the complete step-by-step guide on how to add liquidity in the
(Ethereum)GEM-ETH
pair on Uniswap and earn from trading fees.
Visit the
Liquidity page
. Connect the wallet and Configure it on the ETH network. Click on the
ADD Liquidity
page will appear. ETH is chosen as one of the inputs by default. Now click on the
"Select a Token"
button to choose the 2nd input. A pop up appears, Paste the ethereum GEM contract address
(0x9b17baadf0f21f03e35249e0e59723f34994f806)
and click
"Import"
Now set your
"Preferred fee tier"
and
"Preferred price range".
You can also click on
"Full Range"
for the maximum which results in lessened accruing transaction fees.
See this guide from Uniswap for a clear understanding of these parameters and set them as suits you best.
Now set the input
GEM
amount in one. The required amount of
ETH
automatically appears. Once you set all the parameters click on
"Preview".
The preview shows your position. Now click on
"ADD"
and a pop-up of your web3 wallet appears, click to
"Confirm"
the transaction.
Congratulations!
🎉 the transaction confirmation shows that you successfully added the liquidity. You can also see your liquidity position now for accruing fees from uniswap transactions.
